DAMTEC® vibra series
DAMTEC® developed the vibra product series from special rubber granulates and polyurethane for the construction industry. This product range enables architects and specialist planners to plan and calculate their projects precisely in terms of technical requirements and cost-effectiveness.
Seven DAMTEC® vibra types
DAMTEC® vibra is a series of decoupling mats made from recycled rubber granulate, some of which is new rubber waste from the automotive and medical industries, manufactured by KRAIBURG Relastec.
For low loads, the mats are plain on the top and profiled on the bottom. The geometry generates additional softness in addition to the elasticity of the rubber. If the loads are higher, both sides are plain. A specific mixture of foamed and non-foamed rubber granulates ensures optimum adaptation to the expected loads.
The product is selected based on the expected compressive stress in the material. The option of using different product thicknesses and/or two- or three-layer installation guarantees optimum vibration damping and structure-borne sound decoupling.
