“A lot of free space, a prepared hall, a few other sheds, no usable machines, but 25 interested employees!” These were the words used by KRAIBURG shareholder Peter Schmidt to describe the site on the Fuchsberg in Salzwedel when KRAIBURG Relastec was founded in April 1991.

Shortly after the reunification of Germany, part of the former “Pneumant Reifenwerke Fürstenwalde” company was taken over by KRAIBURG. KRAIBURG Relastec was to continuously expanded its production capacities in all product areas and invested in innovations and new technologies. This courage has paid off. Peter Schmidt’s vision quickly developed into a global player in the rubber industry. Today, with 250 employees, we supply more than 100 countries worldwide with our quality products made of rubber granulate.
