The times when flat roofs were more or less unused wastelands on industrial halls or buildings are a thing of the past. The already existing areas can, as far as the statics allow, be well used for air conditioning, PV systems or green spaces. These can not only contribute to a more pleasant climate and further biodiversity, but also to a delayed water input into the often overloaded sewerage system, if properly constructed.
