SHIELDTAC® blocks

Flexible protection solution for shooting ranges

SHIELDTAC® blocks, better known as SPORTEC® shooting block, are a specially developed product for securing danger zones in the target area of indoor and outdoor shooting ranges. They are used as energy-absorbing protective elements that significantly reduce the risk posed by deflected projectiles, splinters and ricochets. Depending on the installation and positioning, SHIELDTAC® blocks are capable of effectively absorbing projectile energies of up to 7,000 joules or reducing them to such an extent that there are no or only negligible safety-related effects on the rear side. Thanks to their material properties, SHIELDTAC® blocks can be used in a variety of ways within safety-related protection concepts in the target area. In addition, the system is suitable for the temporary lining of mobile training units, for example for setting up variable protective walls with which different shooting and deployment scenarios can be realistically and safely simulated.

Shooting protection

Tested in accordance with an in-house test instruction and in ballistic test. Tested and assessed in accordance with § 27a and § 58 (23) of the German Weapons Act (WaffG).
