Seamless flooring system for shooting ranges

SHIELDTAC® ricosys PU, previously known as SPORTEC® shooting SFR, is a special PU-based coating that is applied to SHIELDTAC® ricotiles as a system component, creating a closed, jointless surface that is suitable for fire protection on floors in shooting ranges. The material design reliably prevents ricochets and stray bullets in the floor area. At the same time, the closed surface prevents the penetration of gunpowder residues, facilitates cleaning and reduces the risk of fire. SHIELDTAC® ricosys PU meets the requirements of fire class Bfl-s1 and is available in eight different colours. In combination with SHIELDTAC® ricotiles, the flooring system has been tested in an extended test setup with projectile energies of up to 7,000 joules, making it an integral part of a comprehensive safety concept for shooting range floors. SHIELDTAC® ricosys PU can also be combined with other protective solutions from the SHIELDTAC® system portfolio.

SHIELDTAC® Repair Kit (for ricosys PU)

Fast-hardening material – ready for use the very next day!

The repair is a 3 component kit consisting of ricosys Protector, ricosys Finisher and an accelorator. With just a few drops of PU accelerator AC 3180, the PU material hardens quickly and the floor can be used again the next day. Depending on the extent of the damage, 1 kit can repair around 20 areas with approx. 50 ml per impact point.

SHIELDTAC® skirting board

Seamless floor finish for PU floors

SHIELDTAC® PU skirting board provides a clean and functional finish for PU-coated floor surfaces within the SHIELDTAC® ricosys PU flooring system. It ensures a controlled transition between the floor and wall surfaces, thereby supporting a neat, closed finish for the floor structure. A coving finish is also possible. The skirting board is manufactured on site in-house and coated with the PU coating in accordance with the system. This creates a homogeneous, jointless floor finish that prevents the ingress of dirt, moisture or powder residues and makes cleaning much easier. As an integral part of the system, the skirting board contributes to the functional completeness of the PU floor structure and complements the coated surfaces, especially in safety and hygiene-relevant areas of shooting ranges.
