SHIELDTAC® ricotile
Designed for optimal protection and acoustic comfort in shooting ranges
The SHIELDTAC® ricotile, previously known as SPORTEC® shooting, is suitable for floor, wall and ceiling coverings in indoor and outdoor shooting ranges. The rubber tiles are available in thicknesses of 40, 43 and 70mm and effectively absorb projectiles up to 10,000 joules, thereby preventing dangerous ricochets and stray bullets. When used on floors, the tiles can also be coated with PU. As part of our SHIELDTAC® ricosys system, this creates a closed, jointless surface that prevents the penetration of powder residues, facilitates cleaning and reduces the risk of fire. In addition, SHIELDTAC® ricotile tiles with a sound absorption coefficient of up to αw 0.75 contribute significantly to the acoustic insulation of the facility.
