What about fire protection?

Our SPORTEC® products can be delivered in nearly all fire classifications from “normal flammability – E_fl” up to “flame retardant – C_fl-s1”. We will have a fitting solution for nearly all tenders.

OK, but is there a norm that I know what I have to compare?
Fire classification is tested and classified in accordance to EN13501-1. The achieved fire classification of a SPORTEC® product is written in the Technical Data Sheet and will vary, depending to the selected product.

The flooring must be fire safe and flame retardand…
Then you should choose one of our EPDM made floorings, e.g. SPORTEC® purcolor. These floorings classified as flame retarding floorings with “C_fl-s1”.

And when high fire protection is not an issue?
Then you can choose all flooring products, also those made of SBR alike SPORTEC® color which are also tested and achieve an E_fl fire classification.
